have been involved in a wide range of courses, both in

The courses have been held in Trox’s on site training suite,
during work hours, which have made them highly accessible to a wide range of

The Trox UK agenda was;
The programme started with two groups of employees attending
our “Presentation
Skills”
course. This course helped staff to develop confidence and
reduce nerves when presenting to large or small groups. It introduced a
structured approach, which enabled the clear delivery of information in an
effective and informative way. The delegates were videoed, and feedback was
always encouraging and practical, making the sessions very interactive and
supportive.
Over 20 people attended our
“Introduction
to
Excel”
and “Formatting
& Business Graphs in Excel” courses. These were
hands-on sessions, held in small groups, to ensure individual support and
attention. As Excel is being used more frequently as a management tool on
the shop floor, Line Managers could apply their knowledge to specific
production objectives, looking at KPI’s, and automatically highlighting
shortfalls.
Our “Advanced
Excel”
and
“Excel
Tips & Tricks“courses
increased employees’ understanding of some of the more involved features of
Excel. We looked at advanced functions, IF statements, nested functions,
goal seek and Excel shortcuts.
Our “Introduction
to
PowerPoint”,
helped employees to appreciate the tools and features
that are used to create professional presentations. Focusing on business
requirements, we created master slides, and templates, and discussed how to
avoid “Death by PowerPoint” when delivering a presentation. |
